“Virtual Creatures: Enhancing Immersion in Mixed and Virtual Reality”
Procedural animation, powered by algorithms and AI, generates dynamic, real-time movements that bring virtual characters to life. When integrated with VR and MR technologies, it helps create virtual worlds that feel vibrant and alive.
In this talk, I will explore how procedural animation is used in my VR and MR games developed in partnership with Meta. I’ll highlight techniques that set these projects apart, from animating dolphins in calm underwater environments to fearsome creatures in hostile alien worlds. By combining advanced animation with immersive technology, these projects aim to push the boundaries of realism and interactivity in virtual entertainment.
