Gwyneth Margaret Owen of Rhiw, St Davids Road, Caernarfon passed away on March 13, 2021 at the Eryri Hospital, Caernarfon, aged 91 years.
Gwyneth began her career as a domestic Science teacher in the Kingston-upon-Hull High School, afterwards at Llanrwst Secondary School, and then as a school meals organiser in Denbighshire, followed by a lectureship at the Bangor Normal College where she became Dean of ladies students. Gwyneth was a deacon and organist in Moriah Chapel in Caernarfon and afterwards in Engedi and Seilo Chapels. She was an accompanist to Dilys Wynne Williams Caernarfon Choir for many years, and then served as a member of the team of the Wheat Grain Society, Caernarfon for over 30 years.
